Nuclear Missile Silos
By using the command center, you can activate either of the two missile silos, launching rockets into the air that will target nearby opponents. To do this, drive through the command center, you should hear an audio cue to indicate that the silo has been activated. You'll now have a short period of time to drive into the silo trench and under the traffic lights - when the turn green, the rocket launches into the air, before coming crashing down on you enemy!
If it doesn't work straight away, you'll probably have just enough time to be able to reverse and drive under the lights again. Failing that, about turn, head back through the command center and try the silo on the other side. Destroying the command center will render the silos useless.
Radar Dishes
The radar dishes rotate in regular intervals - if you notice an incoming mortar or missile, hide under the dishes and the projectiles will lose their lock on you.
Laser Turrets
These turrets guard the entrance to the control center and will track and fire on anyone remotely near the perimeter. As long as the gates have been taken out, you should be able to xip through unscathed, although heavier vehicles may have a harder time of it. The turrets can also be destroyed with a few hits, but don't bank in a shield as adequate protection, since the beams can strip your vehicle of powerups!
Stealth Planes
When you shoot the supports of a stealth bomber, they taxi along to the end of the runway, turn 180 degress then accelerate and take off. As with the planes in the Aircraft Graveyard level, they do a fair bit of damage and will knock you for six should you get in front of them. In addition, the exhausts can set you on fire if you get too close. One tactic is to use them as cover - by positioning yourself between the exhaust, you can drive almost into the bombers. Stay there and it's virtually impossible for other vehicles to hit you, just bear in mind that when the bomber reaches the end of the runway it'll turn round and probably roast you!
Luxosaucer
A sneak preview of 'Y the Aliens' saucer is hidden in this hangar. It doesn't do much, but if you're careful, you can get it into the open and knock it around the arena into other cars. For added destruction, push it into the path of an oncoming steath bomber!

Weapons & Powerup Spawn Points
Another small level, the best guarantee of powerups is the circle of barracks and around the hangars. Try the hillside near the barracks for some out-of-the way powerups as well.
