Sid is a contender for best character in the game, due to his great vehicle stats and overall coolness - I mean, who doesn't want a car with flames along it!? The Manta compares well with Houstons' Palomino, but seems lighter, allowing it to get some serious air and pull off tighter turns. As you can see, speed is at Max, so driving circles round opponents is no problem, as is getting out of sticky situations. Even though the Avoidance rating is low, the high speed means that you can often just outrun any incoming missiles, or at least hide in amongst scenery. For a great 'run 'n gun' match, put Sid up against Chassey Blue in Canyonlands and watch them tear up the roadside!

When Sid wanted a rapid-fire molotov launcher for his Manta, he had one made to order by the OMAR boys. A direct hit will set enemy cars ablaze!
If there's one thing that lets Sid down, it's his special, which is comparitively weak and pretty innacurate. It fires balls of flame at targeted vehicles, which on impact set the target on fire, which will continue to sap energy. However, vehicles with any speed are usually nowhere near the impact point when the flames do hit, so the only way to guarantee a hit is to get right up close. Even then, the damage isn't particularly substantial, so stick to powerful combos to waste opponents. // One good thing about the special is that it can hit targets from a reasonable distance, so long as they're not moving much at all, so if you see a pile-up, fire, and chances are you'll hit something.
