Overall, Daves vehicle is one of the poorer choices in the game - it's not heavily enough armoured to make up for it's lack of speed and is too large to provide much avoidance. Its one saving grace, however, is that it has a reasonable ramming ability for such a small vehicle, so it's wise to use this as much as possible.

A small radar dish found at Site-4 finally allowed Dave to establish a channel of communication with the aliens. Now, he doesn't hesitate to call for help when the going gets tough. A swarm of these little saucers spells certain death to anyone who isn't fast enough to outrun them.
The main advantage of Daves weapon is that it can be fired from anywhere in the arena, without even the need for any kind of line-of-site. It basically calls down several flying saucers which chase after the target and explode on impact. In adition, the explosions cause buffeting, especially to smaller vehicles, so try and use this by firing it when the target is on the edge of a walkway, like the ones in Hoover Dam. // If you're up against Daves special, the only sure way to avoid it is too outrun it. Even then, those little flying suckers are prety nippy, so you'll only stand a chance if you're in the fastest vehicles. If you are, try and find a long stretch, where you can get up to a decent speed and just keep driving away from them. Use the behind view to see where they are - they eventually give up and fly back up into the sky after a period of time. // Finally, although unconfirmed, it may be possible to use Beezwaxs' 'Swarm' special against the saucers, although I kinda doubt it...anyone shed any light?
